Dolf van der Haven
Dolf has a history of over 25 years in the ICT industry, working for various mulitinational ICT companies as a Consultant, Engineer and in a number of (Senior) Management positions. After working in a more technical organisation, he became quickly interested in communication and people management, which led to a natural development towards leadership roles, thus giving him a broad background in people and business management as well as customer relationships. Apart from this, he has been trained in coaching and counseling.
Dolf is an active member of the ISO/IEC committee (JTC1 SC40) that develops standards in the areas of IT Service Management (20000) and Governance of IT (38500) and has been Project Editor for a number of standards in these series.
Dolf is the author of many books that you can find in the Publications section.
Dolf is based in Groenekan, The Netherlands.
Interests:
- ISO Management System Standards: ISO/IEC 20000 (service management), ISO/IEC 27001 (information security management), ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 22301 (business continuity management).
- Improvement: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, UiPath process mining.
- Authoring: published numerous books and articles about service management, psychology and people management.
- Frameworks and methodologies: ITIL 4, ITSM.express, VeriSM, NIST CSF.
